Wal-Mart Is At War Against Apple Over The New iPhone Payments System  (Source business Insider)

American retailers appear to have gone to war against Apple’s new mobile payments system, Apple Pay, and Apple is losing. Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Rite Aid, and CVS have all said they want nothing to do with the system. Apple appears to have created an ingenious and obviously superior mobile payments system. But retailers control their own checkouts — they get to say who pays with what, not Apple. And Wal-Mart, the world’s largest retailer, is backing the retailers’ system via a company it is partnering with called MCX.

The retailers don’t want Apple to monopolize a system that will produce a lot of valuable customer data. Their system, “CurrentC,” will let them keep that data. Apple Pay basically partners with, and sits on top of, the existing credit-card system and makes credit cards super-easy to use by funneling payments securely through your phone. It shields data from retailers, too — which is why Wal-Mart. don’t like it.

The retailers’ CurrentC system does something similar, but without the fingerprint and without the one-step approval. You have to scan things and punch in codes to make the payment. The advantage of CurrentC is that it automatically applies discounts and coupons to your purchase, so consumers are heavily encouraged to use it. It also funnels a ton of data to retailers.

Centers for Disease Control (CDC) Finally Admits that Ebola Can Float through the Air … 3 Feet (Source globalresearch.ca) We’ve noted for some time that Ebola can be spread by aerosols to frontline healthcare workers. The CDC is finally admitting this fact. The CDC put out a new poster stating: Droplet spread happens when germs traveling inside droplets that are coughed or sneezed from a sick person enter the eyes, nose, or mouth of another person. Droplets travel short distances, less than 3 feet (1 meter) from one person to another. A person might also get infected by touching a surface or object that has germs on it and then touching their mouth or nose. Clean and disinfect commonly touched surfaces like doorknobs, faucet handles, and toys, since the Ebola virus may live on surfaces for up to several hours. Meryl Nass, M.D. – a board-certified internist and a biological warfare epidemiologist and expert in anthrax – comments: CDC says it doesn’t travel farther than 3 feet.  Well, at least CDC is starting to move the narrative.  Maybe tomorrow it will be 5 feet.  Then 10.  Maybe next month they will tell us why all the victims’ possessions are being incinerated and apartments fumigated. Just remember: historically, Ebola spread fast in healthcare facilities. Dr. Nass previously argued that the CDC has been lying about aerosol transmission of Ebola, as its own 2009 publication admitted that Ebola: pose[s] a high individual risk of aerosol-transmitted laboratory infections and life-threatening disease that is frequently fatal, for which there are no vaccines or treatments…

Pope Francis: ‘Evolution Is Not Inconsistent With The Notion Of Creation'(Source Huffington Post)

Pope Francis on Monday waded into the controversial debate over the origins of human life, saying the big bang theory did not contradict the role of a divine creator, but even required it. The pope was addressing the plenary assembly of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences, which gathered at the Vatican to discuss “Evolving Concepts of Nature.” “When we read about Creation in Genesis, we run the risk of imagining God was a magician, with a magic wand able to do everything. But that is not so,” Francis said. “He created human beings and let them develop according to the internal laws that he gave to each one so they would reach their fulfillment.”

Francis said the beginning of the world was not “a work of chaos” but created from a principle of love. He said sometimes competing beliefs in creation and evolution could co-exist. “God is not a divine being or a magician, but the Creator who brought everything to life,” the pope said. “Evolution in nature is not inconsistent with the notion of creation, because evolution requires the creation of beings that evolve.”

Dr. Cyril Broderick, A Liberian scientist and a former professor of Plant Pathology at the University of Liberia’s College of Agriculture and Forestry, claims the US Department of Defense is funding Ebola trials on humans, trials which started just weeks before the Ebola outbreak in Guinea and Sierra Leone. The reports continue and state that the DoD gave a contract worth $140 million dollars to Tekmira, a Canadian pharmaceutical company, to conduct Ebola research. This research work involved injecting and infusing healthy humans with the deadly Ebola virus. Hence, the DoD is listed as a collaborator in a “First in Human” Ebola clinical trial , which started in January 2014 shortly before an Ebola epidemic was declared in West Africa in March. Dr. Broderick claims that the U.S. government has a research laboratory located in a town called Kenema in Sierra Leone that studies what he calls “viral fever bioterrorism”, It is also the town where he acknowledges that is the “epicentre of the Ebola outbreak in West Africa.”  Dr. Broderick says that “there is urgent need protecting the less affluent of poorer countries, especially African citizens, whose countries are not as scientifically and industrially endowed as the United States and most Western countries, sources of most viral or bacterial GMOs that are strategically designed as biological weapons.” The U.S. government has been experimenting with deadly diseases on human beings for a long time, history tells us so.

Italy Steps Up Security Over Alleged ISIS Plot to Kill The Pope (Source thedailybeast.com) As Pope Francis continues to straddle the fine line between calling for the end of persecution of Christians in Iraq and blessing American airstrikes against the Islamic State (also known as the “Caliphate,” ISIS, or ISIL), there is increasing concern for the pontiff’s—and the public’s—safety. Earlier this week, the Roman newspaper Il Tempo published a disturbing report that Francis is “in the crosshairs” of ISIS for “bearing false witness” against Islam.  Citing anonymous sources within Italy’s intelligence community and pointing to notable heightened security in Rome, the paper went on to say that ISIS plans to heat things up by “raising the level of confrontation” with Europe, Italy and very specifically Pope Francis, the “greatest exponent of the Christian religions.” The Vatican downplayed the concerns, calling them unfounded despite growing concern in Italy that it is not just the Pope who is under threat.  “There is nothing serious to this,” Vatican spokesman Federico Lombardi told Catholic News Agency.  “There is no particular concern in the Vatican.” The Italian government apparently begs to differ.  Earlier this week, Italy’s deputy interior minister Filippo Bubbico said that Italy and the Vatican are equally at risk after authorities issued a terrorism alert, warning ISIS could launch terrorist attacks on what they referred to as “sensitive targets” in Rome and elsewhere, specifically pinpointing embassies to both Italy and the Holy See, Catholic churches, bus and train stations, sea ports, airports and travel agencies.

A Lincoln, Nebraska, middle school advised its teachers at the beginning of the fall semester to use gender-inclusive expressions. Teachers are to veer away from gendered expressions, such as “boys and girls,” “guys,” or even “ladies and gentlemen.” They are instead encouraged to embrace less sexually-orientated terms, such as campers, athletes, readers or even “purple penguins.” The middle school teachers were each given a 12-step handout to help them become more gender-inclusive.  Points in the handout call for the teacher to question students if they reference gender in a binary manner. “What makes you say that? I think of it differently,” is one way they are to challenge the students in order to train them to be more gender unidentifying. Trumpet columnist Joel Hilliker wrote: An effort is gaining ground to create a world where not just ‘sexual orientation,’ but sex itself, is a choice. Where boys can be girls and girls can be boys, or something in between. Where people are expected to ignore the biological reality of sex so that all people coexist androgynously, or according to whatever gender suits them at the moment. Where everyone pretends that gender confusion is normal, if not desirable, and anyone who doesn’t play along can be punished and silenced. Joel Hilliker continued: “Our society has transformed into an immoral ‘do your own thing’ world that tolerates and accepts anything and everything. OMINOUS SIGNALS COMING FROM THE FINANCIAL MARKETS THAT WE HAVE NOT SEEN IN YEARS (Source blacklistednews.com) We are starting to see some ominous things happen in the financial world that we have not seen happen in a very long time.  So many of the same patterns that we witnessed just prior to the bursting of the dotcom bubble and just prior to the 2008 financial crisis are repeating themselves again.  Hopefully we still have at least a little bit more time before stocks completely crash, because when this market does implode it is going to be a doozy. The following are ominous signals coming from the financial markets that we have not seen in years. According to the Economic Policy Journal, the VIX has now risen to the highest level that it has been since the heart of the European debt crisis.  This is another indicator that there is extraordinary fear on Wall Street. US stock market volatility has jumped to the highest since the eurozone debt crisis, according to a closely watched index, the the CBOE Vix index of implied US share price volatility. The price of oil is crashing.  This also happened in 2008 just before the financial crisis erupted.  The wealthy are hoarding cash and precious metals right now.  In fact, one British news report stated that sales of gold bars to wealthy customers are up 243 percent so far this year. Technical strategist Abigail Doolittle is holding tight to her prediction of market doom ahead, asserting that a recent move in Wall Street’s fear gauge is signaling the way. Doolittle has made headlines lately suggesting a market correction worse than anyone thinks is ahead. The long-term possibility, she has said, is a 60 percent collapse for the S&P 500.
